Maukele Transcribers, LLC, is a woman-owned and operated, AAERT (American Association of Electronic Reporters & Transcribers) certified, Hawaii-based company that specializes in legal and court transcription. We have been providing legal and medical transcription services to our clients since 2003.

All transcription is performed by AAERT certified transcribers who have extensive expertise.  Our expertise includes transcription from a broad range of digital recording formats including FTR, JAVS, Liberty, as well as generic audio and video formats.

Partner Policies - Maukele Transcribers, LLC

Transcripts:

Maukele Transcribers, LLC, charges by the number of transcript pages.  On average, one hour of audio produces 40 transcript pages.  Page rates vary depending on the type of project as well as the requested turnaround time. 

Deposit Policy:

Once we receive your order for transcript production, Maukele Transcribers, LLC, will provide you with an estimated cost for transcription.  The estimate will be based on the length of the audio.  This is an ESTIMATE ONLY.  The actual page count and final cost will not be determined until the transcript is completed.  The final cost may be higher or lower than the estimate provided.  A deposit may be required prior to the commencement of your project. 

Transcript Cancellation Policy: 

If cancellation of a transcript order is necessary, a post of cancellation request in the "Messages" tab of your online order should be made.  You may also call us at (808)244-0776 to cancel your order.  Cancellations are effective upon our receipt of your posted message or phone call.

A cancellation fee may apply, depending on the status of your transcript. 

  • If you placed an order and Maukele Transcribers, LLC, did not receive the audio and has not begun working on your transcript, we will refund/return any paid deposit and no charges will apply.
  • If a transcriber has begun working on your transcript, you will be charged the amount of the agreed upon page rate times the number of pages prepared prior to cancellation.

Transcript Payment Policy:

Upon delivery of the final transcript, the customer will receive an invoice for the total amount due.  Payment is DUE UPON RECEIPT of the transcript. 

You may make payment by credit card directly on the site by clicking on the "Payments" tab of your order, or you may make payment by check payable to TheRecordXchange and mailed to:  TheRecordXchange, 7590 East Gray Road, Suite 202, Scottsdale, Arizona  85260. 

Transcript Refund Policy:

Upon completion of the transcript, you will be refunded any balance due back to you via the method you paid, or the balance remaining will be due upon completion, if applicable.
